Hey there sexy, let me kiss you to the galaxy… Watercolour photography mash up!
Let me know what you think! Prints available at Red Bubble and Society 6!
Maybe I have been watching too much original Star Trek, Capitan Kirk kisses all the girls! And for those who are not as blue as me there’s an alternative sexy version!
My yearly fun, get the skulls out and make the weirdest thing I can think of. This year, well, I have no skulls, so I am stepping back in time. Made with a badger skull and vintage dolls clothes please meet your Victorian nightmares.
Space Skulls. We think we saw them in the corner of our eye, or maybe seen them in the telescope. We’ve all wanted a closer look and to visit the worlds in the stars. Finally they came close enough for a mere mortal like me to collect the evidence.
I have prints and artwork available at Society 6 and Redbubble
Oh man, I had a lot of fun making these ones. I’d like to think it’s where the unicorns rub up against the My Little Ponies to have a rave… But I could be wrong! The beautiful bubbles collection are on Society 6 https://bit.ly/35Wg8tZ and Redbubble (HERE)
I made these by layering up some bubbles I created with oil and food colouring with some abstract light photographs, not quite as glamorous now, but it takes time to create unicorn bubbles!
Current moods… Up then down, not quite knowing what’s going on and trying to keep focused on not wasting this time I have off from the day job. But then a load of people are in the same boat. I am wondering how had it will be for like minded artists and creators who have had this time to focus on their craft to get back into a work mindset. Going to be very strange sitting in an office thinking about colours and clay! So I made some arrows by layering textures and vibrant colours over arrow road signs. Think it portrays how I’m feeling right now. (prints etc available at Society 6 HERE)

I have started a new hush project for someone involving ghostly vibes and nature. I’ve started off a bit strong to be honest! So these practice photos wont make the cut, but there’s something about them I quite like. I’ve been obsessed with layering textures and photos on top of each other, something I used to do years ago, before photoshop was really any good. It almost feels like cheating doing it so easily on photoshop now, maybe that’s why I’m using so many layers, to try and make things more complicated for myself!
Some times you just have to let your frustrations out… Only joking! I was trying to make some textures from the broken glass and some siligum to push into clay at a later date. That experiment didn’t quite go to plan, but at least I got some nice stock photographs out of the day too.

In this weird time of isolation it’s been easy to take more time to look out at the garden and just get a bit closer to the ground. Summer is on the way and things are sprouting where they shouldn’t be! I’m more of a ‘let nature be nature’ kinda girl, but when dandelions get to this stage of their lives I must admit I’m pretty quick with chopping down the ones on the lawn. Hey, the bees have hard their fun, time for you to go! But if you look closer it is amazing how many small bugs and aphids live just under the dandelion seeds! go, get your magnifying glasses, freak yourself out! These are some fun photos I’ve been taking for stock photography sites at Shutterstock (here) and Adobe Stock (here)
Well the lockdown in the UK seems to be having effect on my general creativty cracker point. I’ve been having a great time! Started working on some abstract photography, something I’ve not really explored since college, and back then Photoshop wasn’t really an option! I’m not sure the camera will forgive me for the settings I made it do, all the while spinning it around like a ballroom dancer. Going to explore mixing art work with this technique a bit more today, see what happens! Thank goodness I don’t do film photography anymore, this would have turned out expensive!
Prints and other yums of this photograph are available at Society 6 HERE
